Software Development Consulting

Thoughtful software,
built with care.

Reya Sol LLC is an independent software development practice. With 14 years of professional engineering experience — much of it in personal finance and payments — I help teams design, build, and untangle web applications, APIs, and the infrastructure behind them.

I also design and build my own products for Apple platforms — the first is a home maintenance app for iPhone.

What I do

Hands-on engineering work, taken end to end — from the first architecture conversation to a system running in production.

Web application development

Full-stack feature work on production web apps — from interface to data layer.

Backend & API development

Services and APIs built to be readable, testable, and safe to change later.

Database design

Schema and query design that holds up as the data — and the team — grows.

Cloud & infrastructure

Deployment pipelines, environments, and monitoring that stay boring on purpose.

Consulting & architecture review

A second set of eyes on a system you're about to build, scale, or inherit.

MVP & prototype builds

A real, working version of the idea — small enough to learn from quickly.

Legacy system modernization

Incremental paths off aging code, without stopping the business to do it.

Code review & mentoring

Practical feedback for growing engineers, and standards a team will actually keep.

Fintech & payments

Domain experience with money movement, ledgers, and sensitive financial data.

In development

A home maintenance app for iPhone

Our first product tracks home maintenance by cadence and due date, so the work that only comes around twice a year doesn't quietly slip past you.

It started with a list on my phone after buying my first home. Designed and built in-house at Reya Sol LLC. The name will be announced closer to release.

  • Cadence-based tasks
Monthly, seasonal, and annual jobs that reschedule themselves once logged.
  • House health at a glance
One score, broken out by system, showing what's fresh and what's overdue.
  • A weekly plan, not a backlog
Only what's actually due this week, so the list stays finishable.
  • Appliance log & recalls
Models, service history, and a heads-up when something you own is recalled.
